New Battery Patent
The new Battery patent acquired by Apple, may lead the entire mobile industry in a very different yet exciting path. The patent lets a smaller battery size deliver the same usage as compared to a bigger thicker battery.
This will allow apple to keep the same form factor for the new iPhones and still deliver a lot more battery compared to the current iPhone 12 lineup. The new patent may even rival the battery life of the iPhone 11 Pro Max, which was considered as an industry class battery life.
Pro Motion Display
The Pro Motion display will allow the iPhone’s to have an adaptive refresh rate, which has debuted early on in the Android market but might make an appearance in the iPhone 13 Pro models. The top refresh rate will be 120 hertz which will allow the the iPhone’s to feel and perform even smoother and faster than ever Before.
The Pro Motion display will hugely impact Games and Performance. It can also help make the iPhone more power efficient due to the adaptive refresh rate handling the refresh rate depending on the tasks the iPhone will handle.
Touch ID
It is rumoured that the Touch ID may make a comeback under the screen of the new iPhones. The pandemic where masks are worn almost all the time, Touch ID will be a great help. We will have to see if Apple can keep the same level of security like the original Touch ID or not.
A15 Chip
The new iPhones will obviously have an upgraded A Series chipset inside, the A15. It will be a 5nm+ chip which should help with power efficiency and performance even further.
The new A15 may have additional features due to how powerful it will be. A bigger and better neural network may be one of them. We are yet to see Apple making full use of the A Series chips which may change with the upcoming iOs 15 and beyond.
In the end, Apple will most definitely astound everyone with the iPhone 13 Lineup, it will also include camera updates, bigger screen size and other updates, alongside a newer iOs 15 which will bring new features to make use of the powerful A15 chipset.
