Ever since the latest Macbooks have been released, the benchmarks and testing from everybody on Youtube have been amazing. The chip, made by Apple is astounding everybody who are getting the new macbooks.

The M1 chipset has 8-core CPU and 8-core GPU, so it is literally a powerhorse. The benchmarks showcase the power hiding within the chip, which truly showcases the potential of the Apple chips within the Apple devices.

The Apple chips started with the iPhones and then the iPads and now the M1 has landed within the Macbooks. The latest chip is an upgrade on the A14 which is found within the latest iPhones.

Some of the new capabilities of M1

Gaming:

The capabilities of M1 are ENDLESS. For the first time ever, Macbooks are slowly venturing in the realm of gaming as the new M1 chip is giving an average of 50FPS on games like Fortnite on somewhat high settings graphically, which is a huge deal for Apple.

Battery:

The battery king M1 chip is delivering amazing battery life as the tests are being revealed on Youtube slowly.

People nearly getting 4 — 7 days worth of battery depending on the tasks M1 has to handle. Even with heavy tasks like 4K video editing the M1 doesn’t back down and delivers amazing battery life.

Performance:

The M1 chips delivery incredible speeds alongside saving battery life.

4K video edits are done in half the time it takes on previous Macbooks.

Safari is the new browser king as it handles countless number of tabs without having to refresh idle tabs at all.

M1 blazes through GPU benchmarking softwares and delivers amazing results.

In the end the new Macbooks powered by Apple’s new M1 are truly amazing, especially compared to the previous Intel Macbooks.

The M1 Macbooks are beating the 16 inch Macbook in tests of speed, power and battery efficiency. The 16 inch being sold at £2400 where as the Macbook Air is for £999, which is a HUGE difference.

Just thinking about the next M series chipsets gives me goosebumps, I’m truly excited that laptops which are used by millions as a daily machine are getting this much of an upgrade at a reasonable price than before. As time goes on, more people will be enjoying the M series chipsets.

Slowly more and more applications will be optimised for M1 and this begins Apple’s Rule in the Laptop Industry.
